CEI completed a tank removal and replacement project for the Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC) in Jacksonville, Florida. The project, performed on the Blount Island Marine Corps. Facility entailed the removal of two (2) 10,000 gallon underground storage tanks for vehicular use and the demolition of the existing fueling pad and pumps.
The capacity for unleaded and diesel was maintained and the third tank was outfitted to store bio-diesel, as the Government converts to “greener” petroleum products for use in their on-base vehicles. Bulk fuel dispensing was added at the upgraded facility with two 300 GPM fill stands. Standard “at pump” vehicle refueling was also installed.
