As part of Terminal 4 Expansion at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, CEI provided emergency response to BCAD at the Trails End site for the removal, haul, and disposal of approximately 50,000 Cubic Yards of Asbestos Contaminated Soil. CEI loaded between 1,200 and 1,700 tons per day, working 10 to 12 hours per day, and seven (7) days a week.
Additionally, a hydro seed known as Bermuda Seed was added to the completed Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) removal project area. The hydro-seeding covered most of the Trails End Site.
