CEI was contracted by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) to perform asbestos abatement and removal at eight dormitories located at the FLETC facility in Charleston, South Carolina. The CEI team along with Marcor Remediation, provided all the necessary labor, parts and equipment, disposal, documentation, management and supervision, license, and laboratory services to perform asbestos abatement and removal at the ward towers. Materials removed included carpet wall trim, floor tile, and mastic. Asbestos removal was performed in strict compliance with National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) Standard, 40 CFR Part 61 – Subpart M, National Emission Standard for Hazard Pollutants; South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), Regulation 61-86.1; 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1926.1101; 29 CFR 1910.1001; and all state and local regulations pertaining to asbestos removal, abatement, hauling and disposal.
