CEI was given an award during the USACE’s 2010 Safety Pays Conference at the Vinoy Renaissance Resort Hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida. The USACE Jacksonville District recognized CEI for their superior safety efforts for the duration of the C-51 Storm Water Treatment Area 1 East S-365A & S-365B project, where CEI had zero lost time accidents.

The purpose of the Safety Pays Program is to reduce accidents to a minimum by encouraging safety awareness at all levels through involvement of the Jacksonville District Partnership consisting of the Government and the Contractor. Safety most certainly pays!
