(CEI) was awarded with the Gold Medal for Consulting and Engineering Small Firms for 2008, due to CEIs numerous achievements such as, a placing at number 69 on the Zweig Letter 2008 Hot Firm List and number 40 out of 100 Fastest Growing firms of the U.S. and Canada. CEI also landed on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America and was honored by the Hispanic Business magazine, which tracks the progress of Hispanic-owned businesses, as the Entrepreneur of the year (EOY) for the heavy industry category. The Hispanic Business Magazine also ranked CEI at number 437 among the 500 Largest Hispanic Owned companies in the United States.
